Are portability and small size a must?

The Freetech Compact Digi-Tig 160 is our smallest and lightest machine. Thanks to the sturdy handle, the carrying strap and the low weight, taking it out on a job is not a problem at all.

Welding TIG DC, TIG DC Pulse and MMA!

In addition to the fully adjustable welding cycle, programs with save function, the new design also has the SPT function. This function makes it possible to tack workpieces within 0,2s. This machine offers the possibilty to connect a foot- or torchcontrol. The welding current can be adjusted as required during welding.

What do we use the Freetech Compact Digi-Tig 160 for?

This device can be used for welding both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Think of steel, stainless steel, titanium, copper, etc. Because the machine does not supply alternating current, light alloys such as aluminum etc. cannot be welded.

Anderhalf jaar geleden dit apparaat aangeschaft met alles er op en er aan. Ik gebruik hem het meest in het lage amperage gebied voor het lassen van thermokoppels (met de spt functie welke hier perfect voor is), klein leiding werk, doorvoeren, dicht lassen van deksels in koelwaterkanalen en ander klein priegelwerk. Stabiele boog, ook bij lage aperages, en qua laservaring nagenoeg gelijk aan de duurdere EWM machines waar ik jaren mee gelast heb. Op vol vermogen heb ik hem nog nooit hoeven gebruiken, wel even mee gespeeld natuurlijk. Ook dit beviel toen prima. Machine is handzaam, logisch en makkelijk te bedienen. Overigens heb ik de machine aangeschaft voor het bouwen van een straalmotor hobbyprojectje, waarbij dit machientje het super gedaan heeft. Ik ben er erg blij mee. Ik ben erg fan van de spt hecht functie. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding vind ik erg goed.
